Slack Offices Now Equipped With Sound Proof Glass

They contracted the designer based in New York, Snohetta, to create the interior of the headquarters spanning 12,000 square feet. The concept of the design is to promote spontaneous and unobstructed communication with the help of sound proof glass partitions.

They decided not to use opaque dividers or walls during the office organization. With this solution, they were able to create a plan that follows a grid arranging the rooms for breakout as well as for meetings. This is in line with a central corridor that is open and encourages accessibility among coworkers. Thailand Received Low Ranking In Digital Trust According To Survey

In a recent study, Fraud Management Insights 2017, it ranked Thailand in the eighth place out of ten countries based on the Digital Trust Index in the entire Asia Pacific. Many Thais prefer personal interaction as evident by the meeting room packages in Bangkok that business can avail rather than relying on technology.

The survey was funded by Experian which is an information service listed on the LSE. The research was conducted by IDC, a research firm, among 3,200 customers coming from 80 different organizations in the industry of retail, financial and telecom. Each of this organization has at least $10 million in revenue.

The survey was done in various countries including Vietnam, Thailand, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, China and India.

Experian Asia Pacific’s head of fraud and identity, Nick Wilde, said that the sudden increase in the need to adopt digital technology highlights more on the importance of trust in every business organization.

The recent Digital Trust Index shows that Thai consumers only gave their service providers a trust score that lands them on the eighth place. Top three countries are New Zealand, Japan and Australia while Thailand only ranks higher than Singapore and Indonesia.

Thailand got a score of 2.3 with 10 as the highest. This is due mainly to the high cases of fraud in the country. Customers expressed their disappointments for not getting proper support after being a victim of fraud.

The telecom industry received the lowest rating in Thailand at on 0.81. Retail industry got a 2.36 while the financial industry got a score of 3.8.

In the telecom, frauds are committed through buying mobile devices online and then the buyer will disappear. They also have the capacity to hack the account of a customer and utilize service while leaving the charges unpaid.

Experian is now focusing more in countries located in Southeast Asia especially Thailand because of its current state of the economy and the habit of the locals and tourists where mobile comes first.

The Rising Demand For A Bangkok Residence Through CPN Residence

SET-listed Central Pattana Plc with its residential development arm, CPN Residence Co., affirms its success in the provinces as it plans to construct an upscale detached-housing project and three new condominiums worth a combined 2 billion baht in 2018. It’s newly constructed Bangkok residence intended for young adults in Thailand.

According to KreeDejchai, managing director of CPN, homebuyers in the high-end and middle markets outside Bangkok can afford to buy these residences. He views a real demand for condominiums among younger people who prefer nothing but convenience.

“The condominium is near the vicinity of a shopping centre that will meet demands of both investment buyers and real buyers who plan to rent out their units,” he continued. Like most condominium buyers, they want to settle in an area where everything is accessible.

One of the new residential projects, he said, will be a detached-housing estate with units priced at 10 million baht. A condominium project will also be situated in Bangkok.

In the year 2022, CPN Residence should have around 10 billion baht in income with two-digit annual growth in the coming five years. This can mean a lot of sales just for buying a Bangkok Residence in the area.

For this month, CPN Residence will launch two new condominiums tagged at a combined price of 1.5 billion baht under the Escent label in northern Thailand.

Worth 600 million baht, Escent Ville Chaing Rai will be situated near the CentralPlazaChaing Rai on PHahonYothin Road. The two buildings will have eight storeys with 320 units tagged at 1.49 million baht each.

Worth 900 million baht, Escent Ville Chaing Mai will be situated in the same area as CentralFestival Chiang Mai. The two buildings will have eight-storeyswith 450 units tagged at 1.95 million baht each.

“We are somehow reviewing qualifications of our homebuyers in the three condominium projects in KhonKaen, Chiang Mai and Rayong and hope to hand over the units by February 2018,” said Mr. Kree. “We plan to materialize 3 billion baht from these people.”

Looks like the market for a Bangkok residence is higher and many homebuyers will surely be interested and challenged to buy it.

Third Quarter Of 2017 Sees Growth In Business Filings In Colorado

A report from the University of Colorado Boulder which was published by the Wayne Williams, the Colorado Secretary of State, states that business filings for new businesses in the Colorado area remains to be strong for the third quarter of this year. This is good news as there are many future employment opportunities to be expected before 2017 ends. These businesses had to apply for a Colorado Tax ID which is a requirement in the state.

The author of the report is the Business Research Division which is under the Leeds School of Business. They utilized data that came from the business registry of the Secretary of State. There are a number of factors that were checked such as the filings for new businesses, renewals of existing businesses, rate of construction as well as employment. Data are not only provided for the state of Colorado but the nation as a whole.

For the third quarter alone, there are 28,372 filings from new businesses which showed a growth of 5.1 per cent compared to the same time period on 2016. The growth is a good thing for employment until the end of the year. Unfortunately, experts are predicting that the increase will slow down during the first quarter of next year.
